Communications Manager – Southeast Asia

Working within an international team of campaigners, researchers, filmmakers and communication specialists in Asia, you will lead and coordinate our regional communications work. Thailand Campaigner

In this exciting new role as EJF's new Thailand Campaigner, the successful candidate will work with our growing team in Thailand to end illegal, unreported and unregulated (IUU) fishing and human rights abuses on fishing vessels and actively promote improvements to policymaking, corporate governance and management of fisheries.

Administrative Assistant

Based in Monrovia with frequent travel within Liberia, you will have the responsibility for providing administrative support in implementing our project to reduce illegal fishing and improve the sustainability of fisheries by expanding and strengthening community co-management associations, creating effective capacity for community monitoring and reporting of illegal fishing in Liberia.

Coalition Coordinator

This is an exciting opportunity to work with the leading NGOs dedicated to the protection, conservation, and restoration of the world's oceans. The Environmental Justice Foundation (EJF), Oceana, The Nature Conservancy, The Pew Charitable Trusts and WWF are working together as the EU IUU Fishing Coalition to promote EU leadership in improving global fisheries transparency and governance to end illegal, unreported and unregulated (IUU) fishing.

Fisheries Consultants - Cameroon and Senegal

With funding from the European Union, EJF is developing a global toolkit for participatory fisheries governance, allowing these tried and tested approaches to effective and equitable management to be implemented across the Global South. The global toolkit will be implemented in 15 countries, and a baseline study will be drafted for each one of them. The Consultants will have overall responsibility for the supervision of the baseline study. This will include facilitating inputs from all relevant stakeholders; holding an inception meeting to clarify the requirements; and providing feedback on the Inception Report and Final Report.
