AI Innovation Lead
EJF is looking for a Lead of AI Innovation to lead the careful, responsible adoption of artificial intelligence across the organisation. We recognise that AI may offer significant opportunities to strengthen our work - from data gathering and analysis to communications, translation, and monitoring - but we are committed to adopting it only on the basis of a structured assessment of its relevance, benefits, and risks.
Senior Communications Manager
We're looking to hire a senior communications professional to oversee the implementation of EJF’s content and digital communications, ensuring our investigations and advocacy are presented with clarity and impact. This role manages colleagues in the communications team as well as working closely with campaigners, researchers, investigators, project leads and filmmakers across four continents.
Deputy CEO
We're seeking a Deputy CEO to play a central role in shaping EJF's strategic direction, team leadership and operational excellence. They will work in close partnership with the CEO and senior team to scale our impact, strengthen our global presence, generate new income, and ensure the organisation continues to deliver courageous, evidence-led change.
Senior Oceans Campaigner
We're seeking a Senior Oceans Campaigner to deliver the advocacy and campaign strategy for the Ocean programme: understanding the specific changes we are seeking, identifying the decision-makers who can deliver them, and designing the sequence of pressure, persuasion and partnership that moves them. You will turn investigations into campaign propositions and drive delivery from launch through to the moment a regulation is tightened, a licence revoked, or a supply chain cleaned up.
Call for proposals: Citizen science story grants, Ghana
We invite journalists and reporters with a passion for reporting on Ghana’s fisheries sector to submit proposals for story grants to develop and publish stories on fisheries management and participatory fisheries monitoring, with particular focus on closed season and the citizen science model initiated by EJF in Ghana’s small-scale fishing sector.
