Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (MEL) Officer

The MEL Officer will work closely with the Liberia Chief Representative, the West Africa Regional Manager, and programme and international teams to develop and implement robust frameworks that record programme performance and deliver effective, accurate, and timely monitoring, evaluation, learning, and reporting for EJF’s ocean programmes to secure sustainability and social equity in Liberia’s fisheries sector.

Indonesia Field Researcher

The Field Researcher will support EJF’s work in Indonesia by contributing to broad research activities related to fisheries governance, labour conditions, and environmental protection. Working closely with the Field Research Manager and the wider research team, the role will involve engaging in various field-based activities and engaging with communities and stakeholders to help deliver on EJF’s campaign objectives.

Project Officer - Global Toolkit for Participatory Fisheries Governance

EJF seeks a highly motivated candidate to support the rollout of our EU-funded project, the Global Toolkit for Participatory Fisheries Governance, which aims to train, equip and empower small-scale fishing communities in the fight against illegal, unreported and unregulated (IUU) fishing in 15 countries across the Global South.

EJF is inviting national fisher associations (NFAs) from across Indonesia to apply for a grant under the EU-funded project, ‘A Global Toolkit for Participatory Fisheries Governance'. Grants issued by EJF under this call for proposals seek to empower NFAs to engage in advocacy-related activities that drive reforms of Indonesian fisheries legislation.
