We are delighted to announce that 30 leading restaurants are participating in this year's World Ocean's Day Restaurant Campaign. This year we are taking our message to a global audience through some of the best restaurants in the UK, Ireland, France, Spain and Hong Kong.

The initative was launched in 2012 and involved culinary giants - Tom Aikens, Marcus Wareing, Andrew Fairlie, Anna Hansen and Nuno Mendes. This year we are taking our message to a global audience through some of the best restaurants in the UK, Ireland, France, Spain and Hong Kong.

Throughout June, and in celebration of World Ocean’s Day on 8th June, participating restaurants will be offering their diners the opportunity to engage with the campaign through a £1, €1 or 10HKD donation, raising essential funds for a new surveillance vessel to help stop the pirates in some of the world’s poorest and most vulnerable nations, eradicating illegal fishing that is decimating marine environments.

The 2013 lineup boast a staggering 18 Michelin Stars between them and include: Tom Aikens, Martin Wishart at Loch Lomand, Adam Simmonds at Danesfield House, Wright Brothers, L'Ecrivain, Cafe Spice Namaste and Viajante. We are also proud to welcome two of the top 50 restaurants in the world: French culinary institution Mirazur and Hong Kong's internationally renowned Amber at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel.
