EJF’s Climate Challenge and Student Pack
EJF is pleased to announce the release of its Sixth Form Student Pack – a free resource pack for students and teachers.
What’s the challenge?
- Raise awareness about climate change at home and at school;
- Take action to reduce your energy use;
- Get as many people as possible to sign the petition on climate change and human rights;
- Take part in a unique trip abroad and cycle over 300 miles and visit three cities with students from other schools and colleges.
We want everyone to become active advocates for change: people who want to learn more about the world they live in, and who want to make a positive difference. Join EJF and support our work to protect the human rights of people first and worst affected by climate change. Use the Climate Challenge resources to help us raise awareness about the impacts of climate change on some of the world’s poorest and most vulnerable people, and work with us to inspire individuals, companies and governments to protect and assist them. Organise activities and classes at your school or college to put your advocacy skills into practice and learn about how you can influence those around you to help tackle climate change. Take part in our Cycle Challenge – travelling over 300 miles by bike from London to Brussels, via Amsterdam – to raise awareness and much-needed funds for our work.
