Lush Germany and Holland select EJF as the latest charity to benefit from their Charity Pot Scheme

By EJF Staff

The “Charity Pot” was created by Lush in April 2007 to raise money for nominated charities and other good causes. Every penny from each sale except the VAT goes to the selected cause and during September Lush stores across Germany and Holland are launching an exclusively designed pot to raise awareness and funds for EJF’s “No Place Like Home” Campaign.

The design for the pot lid has been created by Imme Böhme and its launch will be supported by window displays across all stores in Germany.

The charity pot is made with fair trade organic cocoa butter, which gives it a rich chocolate cream scent and moisturises your entire body.

"EJF is delighted to be partnering with Lush Germany to help raise awareness and support for our No Place Like Home campaign to protect climate refugees. Climate change is one of the greatest threats to human rights, and by working together we can give a voice to the world's poorest and most vulnerable people who are first and worst affected by our changing global climate. I hope that Lush customers will feel inspired by the campaign and the testimonies from our Climate Witness partners from around the globe. The time to act is now and together we can all give a powerful voice to secure protection for climate refugees." Steve Trent, EJF's Executive Director
