Location: London

Full-time: Permanent (after 6 month probationary period)

Salary range: £38,000 - £45,000 depending on experience

This role is at the forefront of our mission, collaborating with campaigners, researchers, and filmmakers to gather the evidence needed to drive our advocacy efforts. About the Role

This is a creative and challenging role that demands proven experience and skills to deliver on ambitious plans. You will work with the Investigations team, Film Unit and campaigners. The role demands solid investigative and research skills, a commitment to journalistic ethics, and a keen understanding of the importance of factual accuracy and attention to detail. You should have experience working on field-based investigations and research projects.

The successful candidate will be expected to work independently on multiple projects simultaneously and be willing to take direction according to prescribed needs and within tight time scales. The candidate must be able to travel frequently, sometimes for extended periods and at short notice.

A proven track record in the following is required:

· In-depth field-based research and investigation experience

· Proficiency in managing sensitive digital assets

· Documentary/journalistic experience showcasing storytelling abilities

· Experience cultivating and interviewing primary sources

· OSINT gathering capabilities

· The capacity to develop leads for new investigations

Desirable skills/experience

· Camera skills (video and stills) to capture compelling visuals

· Foreign language skills

· Experience working undercover, demonstrating discretion and adaptability

· Driving licence
