Burmese father and son trafficked three times in Thailand
A Burmese father and son, who were sold by human traffickers a total of three times from one owner to another in a southern Thailand province, were yesterday rescued by the Myanmar Association in Thailand (MAT).
The two men were being held as slaves on Thai fishing boats. The MAT is currently attempting to rescue at least four more Burmese migrants who were sold by human traffickers and are being held as slaves on Thai fishing boats.
