EJF's Save the Sea Campaign launches for 6th year
EJF’s Save the Sea campaign is back for the 6th year running. To celebrate World Oceans Day we have teamed up with Firmdale Hotels, The Honours and Restaurant Martin Wishart and Tom’s Kitchen Deli's.
During June our partners will be raising awareness of the importance of sustainable seafood choices and supporting EJF’s Oceans Campaign. Great food and a great cause - protecting the world’s seas and oceans from over-fishing and pollution.
This is a chance to celebrate our seas, their rich abundance of wildlife, and the vital role they play as the main source of food and income for millions of families and communities all over the world.
Now in its 6th year, the Save the Sea Campaign sees EJF partnering with restaurants and hotels, where quality food is coupled with a commitment to ethics.
To support EJF’s campaign, you can visit any of Firmdale’s beautiful hotels, The Honours Brasserie or Restaurant Martin Wishart, or Tom’s Kitchen Deli’s during June. From June 8 for one month, participating restaurants will be raising money for EJF’s Oceans Campaign by offering their customers the chance to add a donation to their bill. This will go towards fighting illegal fishing and protecting marine biodiversity.

“By supporting this campaign in my restaurants, we can help to educate the public on this pressing worldwide issue. Diners’ contributions are so greatly appreciated. I strongly believe this cause will help to minimise further devastation in our seas.” Martin Wishart, chef at Restaurant Martin Wishart, The Honours and Martin Wishart at Loch Lomond
“We strongly believe in keeping our oceans clean to produce the best possible living environments for sea life to thrive and also so we each take some responsibility for taking care of our planet.” Tom Aikens, Tom's Kitchen Deli
