Our climate action at COP26

By EJF Staff

The climate talks at COP26 finally get under way tomorrow. These talks will be the most important for a generation. Failure to act now will lock in some of the most devastating climate impacts, but if strong targets are agreed and followed up with action, we could turn the tide on the climate crisis.

We are going to be in Glasgow throughout. Here’s some of what we have planned.

We are delighted to announce that as part of our commitment to making more voices heard at COP26, we are supporting six young climate campaigners with bursaries to help them attend.

They are doing incredible work all around our planet, speaking up for nature, climate justice, and a safer, sustainable future for future generations, and we are proud to be helping them bring their messages to these crucial talks. Meet them here.

For Cop's Sake!

Skate artists from around the world have been turning recycled skateboard decks into unique works of climate-themed art that will be exhibited at the Route One skate shop in Glasgow during the COP26 climate talks. The ‘For Cop’s Sake!’ art show – a collaboration between Route One and re:ply skateboards – will run for two weeks from 1 November and the art is being auctioned online for EJF by Forum Actions, closing at 6pm on 12th November.

We are also transforming the Route One shop into a climate action hub, which will feature a live-streamed discussion with Sohanur Rahman, a climate activist from Bangladesh. We’d love you to take part in the live Q&A: head to our Facebook page at 6pm UK time on the 8th of November to join the conversation.

Show your love of Earth with our new clothing range

EJF For the Love of Earth Mock Up v2 1

We are excited to reveal that ahead of COP26, we are launching our new “For the love of Earth” clothing range. The whole range is produced to the highest environmental standards, supports our work to protect those hit first and worst by the climate crisis - and, of course, looks and feels amazing!

Head over to our brand-new store to check it out.

We can’t underestimate the importance of these talks. From artists to activists, we will be working with a range of extraordinary people throughout this COP to spread a message of urgency and hope, and push world leaders to act now.
